Chief Monkey Takes To The Stage at Now What? Live!

On Thursday 8th August 2019 the Chief Monkeys went off to Blackpool for a day of mentoring, training and thought provoking entertainment. They’d been to Now What? Live! many times before but this time was different. This time Chris, yes, our Chris, would be taking to the stage and wowing the crowd! How exciting!

Event owner and mentor to Scruffymonkey, Brad Burton, introduced Chris and it was all cheers and applause. Absolutely great talk from the Chief Monkey about how his life and business has been affected over the last couple of years thanks to The Now What? Club.

Obviously, we’re super proud of Chris but look at what an audience member said;

“I was at a personal development day on Thursday and Chris was booked on as one of the speakers and he totally blew me away – He shared some really personal stuff that I wasn’t aware of but it was his personality, his willingness to be unashamedly himself – I hung on to his every word and I don’t say this lightly – I would pay good money to hear him speak for much longer.

One of the reasons I gave Chris my business is because he stood out. We all try and conform to what society says we should be like. Chris is amazing just being him and this comes out in his talk. If I was organising conferences for the digital arena – Chris would be up their as my number 1 priority to book as keynote speaker – My respect for him went up another notch which I didn’t think was possible”

We gave him a few days to come down from the high and then we had questions. We all wanted to know what it was like up there! Was it scary? Did Chris feel nervous? Would he want to do it again? He said this;
