National Adoption Week 2019
National Adoption Week 2019 will take place from the 14th to 20th October 2019. As ever the campaign will aim to find homes for those children who so desperately need them. The focus for 2019 will be on the adopter.
Did you know?
There are currently over 4000 children that need to be adopted in to a loving home in the UK but only 1700 adults are available to adopt. Are you in a position that can help minimise the gap?
Who can adopt?
Anyone over the age of 21 can adopt. They don’t need to be married or be in a relationship.
It also doesn’t matter if someone is straight, gay or a lesbian, what’s most important is that the child is loved and cared for.
Even if someone has a disability they can still adopt as long as their condition doesn’t stop them being able to care for a child.
People can adopt even if they already have their own children and they can also adopt more than one child at a time.
Caritas were one of our very first clients and are proud to be working with them on many projects. We’re also delighted to announce that their newest website is live and ready just in time for National Adoption Week. The work this company do and the kindness that each person shows is beyond measure.
