Presumptions are a really dangerous thing in business for lots of reasons, they can lead to mistakes, loss of sales and much more.

We know how to build websites. We know the process. We don’t know how to do accounts. We don’t know how to design window blinds – The list goes on and on.

What are the basic questions they would like answering?
What do they want more information about? What are people always asking us about on the phone or email?

Share this information on your website in a blog/news article.
Have a think about the process you go through with your clients and tell stories around it.
Just because you know how to do what you do, doesn’t mean somebody else does – It’s YOUR job to educate them.
TIP: Put a pad next to your phone / computer. Those questions that people often ask are what you should be creating content about. They are giving you the answers, you just haven’t realised it!
