A long-established organisation, their old website had not evolved with the organisation and needed a refresh. Originally managed by their own staff, as the organisation grew, they didn’t have the time or necessary skillset to update the website
Scruffymonkey were invited to provide a complete review of the Trust House Lancashire website and advise not only on how best it should be presented but ensure that it was designed to fit with any future developments within the organisation, so that it could evolve with the organisation without re-investment again in the future.
Following the content collation via the simple Scruffymonkey collection process, the project involved a complicated logic system ‘behind the scenes’, to accommodate several digital referral tools – Children & Young People referral, Adult Professional referral, and Adult Self referral.
The front end of this meant simplifying the existing long forms, which made access to services simpler, and integrated the necessary data for their internal systems. For the site visitor, the new layout easily led them to the right result for their own particular requirements. Working with Trust House Lancashire, it was not just the visual aspect of the website that was important, but the improvement of the processes.
The digital skillset provided by Scruffymonkey made the whole system more efficient.
